Even better, they are all super close to Surf Mania, and can be accessed by foot or a short drive. So come in store, purchase or hire or purchase one of our boards for a couple of hours, and explore the world-class beaches on our very own doorstep.

3. Safety Bay

While many people know this beach for its world class Kite Surfing conditions, not so many are away that the beach in Safety Bay also provides the perfect place for a Paddle Board. The wind protection provided by the groin is what makes this place such a great alternative for those rare days when the main Foreshore is a little bit windy. Only a short drive from Surf Mania, we recommend hiring the boards for an extra hour to really have enough time to get to this beach and really enjoy all that it has to offer.

2. point peron

For those of you who enjoy a little bit more excitement in your Paddle Boarding, Point Peron is the place to visit. Not only is it one of the truly amazing places of Rockingham on foot, but it is out on the water where this magical place really comes to life. The reefs and cliffs are abundant with natural wildlife to admire as you paddle, and if your lucky, it wouldn’t be rare to share the paddle with a pod of Dolphins in the water, or an aerie of Eagle's in the sky. If you time it right, there’s also a small wave that breaks over the reef that is great for some fun. Just make sure you get the tides right and this little novelty wave could be all yours with no one else around!

1. ROCKINGHAM FORESHORE

We have saved the best last with the Rockingham Foreshore truly deserving its place as the number one spot to paddle board in Rockingham on our list. With flat waters to enjoy, Pontoons to paddle to and jetties to explore, there is little doubt that the Foreshore is the best spot to enjoy some time out on the water with family and friends. Another beauty of going for a paddle at the foreshore is the ability to make a day of the beach with so many local cafes and restaurants around that can provide you with much needed fuel after some time on the water. We particularly enjoy early morning and late afternoon paddles on the Rockingham Foreshore and highly recommend ending your day on the water having a paddle as the sunsets on a summer afternoon!
